Press Release: Launch of ‘Saint Lucia: A History of Sugarcane and Rum’

Sugarcane and rum are more than just crops and spirits in Saint Lucia; they’re part of the island’s soul. For me, that connection began with a bottle of Chairman’s Reserve Spiced Rum. It was my first rum and the driving force behind this blog, my Instagram, and a collection that’s still growing.

So I’m especially excited to share this press release for a new book written by my friend (the incredible Brand Ambassador for St. Lucia Distillers) Dave Marsland. I haven’t read it yet, but knowing Dave and his passion for the island and its rum, I’m sure it’s going to make for a fascinating dive into the history behind it all.
